Only Way To Make People Enter Your Exhibits Is To Have Bright and beautiful Trade Show Exhibits.
Exhibits are part and parcel of any trade show. In fact, if anything can draw the attention of the wandering crowd and bring them inside your booth, it is the suitability of the trade show exhibits. You should know that there are different kinds of them. Therefore, let us start with that:
• Tabletop exhibits - These are small and handy, yet very effective. Generally, they consist of a collapsible metal frame with graphic panels attached to it. They are very easy to set up.
• table covers - If you are using tables, you can also have custom printed throw covers to draw the attention of your prospective customers to your product.
• pipe and Drape – It consists of a base plate, which supports upright metal posts with cross beams attached to them. The display fabric drape is either threaded or tied on those cross beams.
• Pop-Up Exhibits – They consist of spring loaded rollers on which flexible graphic panels are attached. For exhibition, you just need to pull up the graphic and secure it to a support post lying at the back of the roller.
• Banner Stand – These are standing frame on which the graphic is secured.
• Panel and Frame System – These are actually aluminum extrusions set up in various designs; you can use them to solve all kinds of trade show requirements. They are rather elaborate and need on-sight labor to set up or dismantle.
There are also modular exhibits and custom exhibits. The former is actually a cross between a pop-up display and a panel & frame system. To have a full understanding of the situation, you should know that any thing modular is generally constructed with standardized units or dimensions; but in spite of the limitation, it offers quite a large amount of flexibility and variety. A modular exhibit too provides immense possibility in spite of all types of constraints.
Custom exhibit however do not have any such constraint, everything is designed as per the fresh needs of the user. It is created to exactly suit just the needs of a specific customer. They often consist of hard wall panels to create space for separate exhibits or activities. Some trade show booth rental services do offer them for rent; large companies do like to have it on their own name.
Owning your trade show exhibits is definitely the cheaper option compared to renting them. Especially if you take part in such trade shows regularly. They have their set of advantages as well. If you have enough space to store them while not in use and transportation of them could be an issue specifically custom exhibits or modular exhibits. Wrapping pad, exhibit crates, skids and dollies are needed for transporting them from one place to another.
However, those who take part in the trade shows occasionally may find both storage and transportation quite irksome. For them renting is always a better alternative. Indeed, today every type of exhibit in every quality is available on rent and so one has to weigh the options carefully before making any outright purchase. Once you buy something, it becomes your responsibility. In case you rent it, it is the renter’s responsibility to transport it to and fro the fair ground.
What’s more! You are eligible to get discounts on the overall tasks such as setting up and dismantling them once the show is over as one package. This could be offer great relief to the exhibitor. In reality, exhibit rentals works based on turnkey model. They offer the required expertise needed to get the necessary trained workforce in getting the booths set up and get dismantled and can do this at a low cost model as well.
However, it is always wiser to have basic idea about different styles of configuration as well as different types of trade show exhibits available today. We have already talked about the later. Let us now talk a little about different types configurations. The Linear or In-Line booths are the simplest of them all. The exhibits are set in a line on either side or at the back. They are suitable for smaller booths.
For larger booths, we can consider Peninsular, Split Island and Island exhibits. They are either arranged in U-shape using the 3 side of the booth, they are called Peninsular Configuration or even Peninsular Exhibits. When two such booths are connected by a common wall in between, they are called Split Island Booth. However, if they are open on all four sides, then they are referred as Island booth. No matter what configuration you choose, you should not overcrowd it. Instead, you should leave adequate space for your customers to walk-in freely and understand the sales pitch clearly.
